We get asked this question a lot. There is no simple answer since it depends on so many factors. These include the hardware (RAM, Disk Space), the software (Database server, Operating System), the traffic and the Internet connection to the machine along with other software and processes running on the computer. Using MS Access as the database with small stores, you should be able to get between 50 and 100 stores on a mid powered machine. For putting up lots of stores, we recommend the Mall version and a powerful database server. Note that the web server and database server can go on different machines and that you only need the iHTML and merchant license for the web server machine.
