The decision on database is based on the amount of traffic the store is expected to get. IHTML will scale very well, ensure that your database will as well. For low traffic sites, MS Access will work just fine but not for medium traffic. The iHTML Merchant has been tested to work with MS Access, mySQL, Postgres, MS SQL, Sybase and Oracle. Other ODBC compliant databases should also work such as FoxPro.
